復課前準備
 
同學已有一段時間沒有上足球班,需要重新適應上課節奏。以下是一些重新上課小貼士,供各家長及同學參考。 在家中感到身體好像虛弱了?害怕球技日漸生疏? 不用擔心!只要在教練的指導下努力練習,定可熟能生巧,鍛煉強健體魄,重拾昔日球感。
 
上課要帶什麼裝備?
  • 每一課都要穿著校服和佩戴護脛
  • 帶備足夠的運動飲品或清水
  • 請家長協助檢查孩子的球鞋是否仍然合腳,以及鞋底的膠有否脫落。

不論任何程度,重覆溫習和鍛鍊都是有效的學習方式。因為一般小朋友並沒有過目不忘的本領,未必能每次都掌握新的學習內容。因此重覆溫習及鍛鍊,能將知識在腦海中轉換化成長期記憶。故此,教學其中一部份是重覆學習內容,收溫故知新之效。所以,即使重複訓練可能納悶,但無論如何都會是保持記憶的有效方法之一。

It has been around two months since classes suspended, let’s go through some quick Frequently Heard Issues together with solutions!
 
I feel weak for not having football classes for a while

Just like fitness and strength, technique will return through constant practice.
 
What should I bring to class?
Students are reminded to bring the following items to class
  • Uniform
  • Shin Pads
  • Non-fizzy drink(s) such as water/sports drinks
  • Not wearing the soccer cleats for two months might be a shock to your feet that have been living in sandals. It would be wonderful if parents could assist in checking the size of cleats and making sure the rubber outsoles are in good condition before coming to class.

Irrespective of abilities, repetition plays a prominent role in learning. Due to the fact that kids could not memorize everything they read; persistent practice is needed in order to store our knowledge into long-term memories. Thus, students could gain new insights by going through the learning materials over and over again. It sounds like an unwise method, but it is the most effective way to retain our memories.
